This rare punk 45 record features The Now with their single "Into The 80s". Released in 1979 by Raw Records (catalogue number Raw 31), this first edition, first pressing vinyl record is in very good (VG) condition and plays at 45 RPM on a 7" black disc. The grade would have been EX without the damage. The Now was a UK punk/new wave band from the 1970s, and this record captures their energy and style. Here is a chance to own a classic Punk record, here is the elusive second 45 from this band, it was released in 1979 The single was never issued with a picture cover. I grade under harsh digital lighting ( mint records don’t look so mint under here) I also use a non amplified player that picks up than an amplified player would. The record at some time escaped its sleeve, and got shuffled about leaving very fine scuffing and one ugly one, this bears out as there is no spindle marks. You can see these marks under digital light, but if you take it outside it would look fine, although the big scuff you can still see. I’ve made this effort to explain the condition, as I expect to see bidding go high on this, as the last one sold for £600 in 2021. I’ve played the 45 and I couldn’t believe it no effect to the playback at all. I will try to take some photos ( the best I can ) thanks for looking and if you’re bidding good luck. I’m sorry to say if for any reason it doesn’t look like it’s gonna make reasonable money, I’ll remove it, as I have offers on it here. Please note if for any reason you’re not happy with your purchase, I’ll refund you, but it would have to return it to me, at your expense. Also postage will be higher on this one.
