Continuing the slow sell-off of my own Jazz collection, 2000 LPs accumulated over 50 years of buying and listening, culling and selling--those for sale now my own saved favorites, in other words. All those i bought new are at least Mint- and usually Mint, really. Any used ones in lesser condition, i'll describe. Today more albums by the great Modern Jazz Quartet...

Deep-groove, yellow W.50th Street label, Prestige PRLP 7005, the first 12" album released by the Modern Jazz Quartet, this one titled Concorde--and it still has the rare original photo cover too, rather than subsequent typeset solution. The great and lasting foursome of Lewis, Jackson, Heath, and Kay perform the famous versions of Ralph's New Blues, All of You, I'll Remember April, Softly As in a Morning Sunrise, and Concorde, plus a Gershwin medley including Soon, For You For Me Forevermore, Love Walked In, and Our Love Is Here to Stay.
Vinyl is a solid VG++. Jacket has a part-split top and spine but still looks good enough to frame. And the back-cover has been SIGNED thus by Milt: "Best of soul, Milt Jackson."
