Description
This is the real deal. So im looking at past auctions of the Sex Pistols and i see this poster selling in the 100 dollars range. I say to myself "Phatreed, you have one of these posters" And sure enough i find it. This is licensed by Virgin Records and must have came in an album because it is folded up and has squares folded into it. This was a factory fold up job, it is perfectly folded so that is why i say it came in a record. The folds look worse in the picture, the sun is making them look white and worn. It is the angle of the sun hitting them. If this was flattened out in a big cheap frame it would look great. Now the strange part is that i found it in my Devo album. I found it in the colored vinyl versoin of "Are We Not Men". That album is supposed to have a poster in it but a poster advertising a new album coming out by Devo. They are both the same size, very large. ?? So i dont know whats going on, i just thought i would share my confusion. Awesome poster representing an awesome short era of music history. The Sex Pistols really didnt produce much music during their brief stint but will affect rock forever!
