Description

Rare "Smokey Smothers Sings The Back Porch Blues" LP W/Freddy King on Guitar Original on King# 779 from 1962. This record is visibly worn with lots of surface scratches but plays amazingly clear and strong. Great Freddy King guitar work. Sounds like a lot of first take numbers. Real primitive. Real good. Sounds like they're "playin' on the back porch".  Side 1 label has a green sticker and both labels have numerous spindle marks. Cover has some seam damage typical of vintage King LP's. Both upper and lower seams are partially split. Left seam is ok. Tape on lower back cover and an X in ink on the front. Hear 2 samples on youtube under J Mosrite
