Welcome back to another round of the world's rarest Soul and Funk vinyl, courtesy waterpolo85.
For your consideration, we have: BUBBHA THOMAS & The LIGHTMEN "The Best Of" LP, featuring "Country Fried Chicken," "Survival Song," "Wench," "#109 Psychosomatic," and 6 others (see photos for full track listing) on Lightin' Records, circa 1978. Tough to find LP featuring some of the best cuts from the prior four Lightmen+1 albums, some with added overdubs (making them unique to this album). In my opinion this is actually the best one to have, as it dispenses with much of the unnecessary fluff and gets right to the groove. Just as hard to find as the prior albums, too. Check out the sound clips below for portions of several songs!
Condition: this guaranteed original, vintage copy is VG+++/M- (vinyl), with just the slightest signs of prior use; very close to mint. Jacket is VG+++, still in the shrink with a price written in grease pencil on the shrink (might be washable?) Slight corner bend upper right corner, very slight water stain lower back left corner, otherwise perfect. An archive-quality copy.
