Our grading is "old school", pre-Goldmine. We guarantee our grading with a "money back" guarantee that includes shipping. Generally, we do not list records below E- condition.
Mint = only used for sealed records or records that we are certain have never been played.
Near Mint - for the most part as good as it gets! No marks and will play clean with no noise.
E+ = Will generally have one or two minor flaws, but will overall be near mint. Played no more than three times.
EX = Excellent! May have light?surface marks (scuffs) and possible light background noise in spots. Overall a very nice copy.
EX- = Overall an Excellent copy with some light surface marks, but with something that distracts. i.e. a small scratch that makes a few pops.
VG+ = Consistent background noise with a few pops that might annoy. Still a very playable copy.
VG = Problems. Background noise now moves to the foreground. May have quite a few pops.
VG- = Well, sometimes a copy is a copy and you forgive stuff. May have a skip or two and will definitely be noisy.
G = Stands for good, but not really good. This thing will be annoying and you will wish you waited for something better. You will probably never find a copy of a record listed on this site in this condition. But we put the grade here just in case something so rare comes along that is beat to crap but we had to put it up anyway.
