Description

A original rare copy of the classic lp by The Pretty Things 'S.F. Sorrow', 1969 South African pressing. Not a lot of information out there regarding this pressing, so I assume it's pretty scarce. An interesting addition for a collector of UK psych.

The cover is in VG condition with some laminate lift mostly on the back near the spine and base with a few patches missing, which appears to be common thing on this SA pressing from what I've seen available image wise, slight ageing to the laminate on the front and a few bits of laminate missing on the front mainly around the edges, otherwise pretty clean with a readable spine with small creases on the corners. The inside cover is in VG+ condition with the spine having a few small creases, slight ageing to the flaps. (Please see pics for condition).

Play graded the LP visually is in VG condition with some hairlines and scuffs, a few small surface scratches NAP. Cleaned using Winyl Gel it has bought the playback up from a VG grade and plays VG+ or better, sounds really great.

The glossy Blue Columbia labels are a nice VG+ with no spindle marks.

Sent 1st class and will be packed securely in a mailer with foamboard/cardboard.
