Doc K’s Blues Band: “Doc K’s Blues Band”
On offer here is a VERY rare LP by Doc K’s Blues Band called “Doc K’s Blues Band”
This is an ORIGINAL 1968 1st Pressing on the highly collectable “Sparks” label.
They were originally formed by Ashley Hutchings (later to become part of Fairport Convention) in Muswell Hill, North London.
They enjoyed considerable success live playing all the popular small clubs and the college and university circuits.
Hutchings was soon to leave for greener pastures whilst the nucleus of the band, Doc K on rock-a-boogie/barrel-house piano, Geoff Krivit, lead guitar and Roger Holt on slide and rhythm guitar were an essential live act to drink and get merry to.

Very Good Plus Plus: (VG++) Record is visually lesser condition than M-. The disc usually has many fine hairlines and paper scuffs. Actual play is close to M-. Covers on VG++ albums may have more visible wear such as heavy ring wear and split seams.
