Description

Amazing find!! Original WLP radio station pressing (MONO!) of this highly influential 1968 psychedelic/experimental/electronic classic by the United States of America—including the scarce logo-printed manilla outer envelope it was issued in!! LP cover has "SPECIAL MONO RADIO STATION" sticker in front upper left corner and DJ track listing sticker along bottom of front cover (see photo), very light shelf wear, ding on upper left corner; and what appears to be some faint coffee stains on back cover. Promo envelope has some numbers written in light brown magic marker on back; flap has creasing and 2" separation along fold on one corner. Disc is VG and plays wonderfully.

A stock original of this mindblower in good condtion is tough enough to find—but a WLP radio DJ copy? In MONO?! With the ultra-cool "brown wrapper" envelope?!! Forget it, my friends...This copy came straight from a college radio station in Ohio, where it had obviously sat, barely played, since the year it was released. Don't sleep!
