Extremely Rare 12" Vogue Picture Record
"A Trip To Slumberland"
Vogue Picture Records were produced by the Save Way Company out of Detroit Michigan back in the 40's. I believe production runs started in 1946 and lasted only 15 months according to The Vogue Picture Record book by Edgar L. Curry.
At the time Save Way produced only a few proto types in the 12" size and none of these were ever released to the general public.
This paticular record is one of the most sought after by collectors the exact quanities are unknown, but most likely less than 20 excist today.
I have played this record for testing purposes only and the record plays well with only slight clicking sounds present due to some very minor scratches that are present.
About 1" from the spindle hole you will notice a broken air bubble left over from production. This does not affect the playability of the record in any way.
I have been lucky enough to aquire 2 of these and have owned them both for over 25 years, this is the last one I have as I have sold the last one over a year ago here on eBay.
