Description

A very rare survivor of the 1970 Bath Festival of Blues and Progressive Music. This is an original poster measuring 10" x 8" listing the bands appearing on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th June. Led Zeppelin headline on Sunday with Frank Zappa / Santana / Byrds etc. . Ticket prices range from 35 shillings ( £1.75 ) for one day to 55 shillings ( £2.75 ) for the weekend. The event was held at the Bath and West showground - Shepton Mallet. Rear of poster gives info on trains, buses and camping facilities etc. .

Quite remarkably the poster is in mint condition because I personally have kept it intact since 1970 myself...
