Description

Here is a super obscurity. It's the band Medusa with the singles Temptress and Strangulation, which were released on the Pepperhead label. This is an unmarked white label test press. Stampers are 22576-A/22576-B. Temptress is a 5 minute-plus epic of quiet, understated, but engagingly spacy echo rock, while Strangulation leans more toward hard rock with a weird edge.

I have two videos of the songs from the actual record. Recorded straight from this vinyl to the microphone on my iphone and uploaded to youtube for your listening/viewing pleasure.

Condition - The Temptress side has some heavy marks at the beginning that cause loud pops. The vinyl looks OK after that, but there is some static, mostly light, for most of the song. The Temptress side grades at VG by sight, but a little lower, maybe VG-, by sound. The Strangulation is nicer. It looks and plays at VG+ or better.

Regarding shipping - I ship quickly using new professional grade materials.

Regarding grading - I try to grade by Goldmine standards. I do not use the grade Mint on unsealed opened records. The highest grade I give to unsealed records is Near Mint. Grading here is strictly by sight.
