Description
Thanks for stopping by! I have for your consideration a VG 1964 original Canadian Capitol pressing of the Beatles German hit "Sie Liebt Dich" (pronounced See Leeb Dick, She Loves You), flip is "I'll Get You", the rarest of all the rare Canadian Capitol 72000 series 45s. (Re. comparison of rarity to the first Swan release, actual production numbers I do not have, I can't find them anywhere on the web; if somebody can tell me if they actually exist, I'll post them in the listing. This disc comes up so seldom; I've found two so far, and I've been looking for 25 years. THIS is the second one! With Swan's production terminated early by legal problems, the difference in production numbers may be closer than expected. Canadian releases were generally 1/10th that of the States. p.s. I've never heard of a counterfeit 72162!). Refer to Osbornes price guide; this baby weighs in at US$500 - 800 in NM. The vinyl on this copy is strong VG with little background noise. Swirl labels have some green ink high-lighting the titles on both sides, and a faded initial P.K. on the Sie Liebt Dich side, looks and sounds great, a good listen and always appreciating in value! Artist on German side credited as DIE BEATLES, English side The Beatles. Curiously morbid in a bad translation kind of way. I wasn't going to put a reserve on this, but a record valued at US$250 I need at least $100 for (one sold earlier this week for over $200). Good luck, and happy bidding! Please check my other auctions, save postage on multiple purchases! I've got some choice material I'll be listing in the coming weeks. MINT: Absolutely perfect, no flaws or visible marks. NEAR MINT: Near perfect but with very minor flaws; Cover shows minimal wear. Should be no background noise to speak of. VG++: Very minor amount of handling, age or surface wear; light background noise may be noticeable is quietest passages. VG+: More noticeable amounts of handling, age or surface wear. Background noise noticeable but not overpowering. VG: Jacket cover will have more wear, seam splits, record still will play through without skips; background noise may be evident throughout. G: Space filler; will play through without skips.
