Description

Bolero is an adaptation of that Spanish rhythm in slow tempo. Performed for the first time in November 1928 at the Paris Opera House. Written in C Major there is little alteration in melody but almost a rhythmic fusion with the dance set within an Andalusian cafe. Paul Pravay's superlative performance of this glittering masterpiece as "sensational and brilliantly imaginative. Matrix Side One SB 00005-A FR7 & Matrix Two SB 00005-B FR7. The Record could just as easily been mint- but for a few spider web scratches very faint. This is a good set.
