Description

This album is in VG Overall condition with the Jacket being strong VG (heavy gatefold with no damage just light rubbing) and the LP being VG (see below) Testing on this LP was done on a Flouance RT85 turntable with a Audio-technica VM540ML cartridge (microline stylus) The LP was cleaned using the Audio desk Systeme Ultrasonic cleaner which helped significantly reduce overall noise upon playback. I still always recommend giving LP's a quick wipe down before playing. All Records shipped in a reinforced LP mailer, LP's are shipped outside of the album sleeve to prevent damage. All Records come in poly outer covers and Mobile fidelity sound labs static free inner sleeves. Please email me with any questions you may have.

This is the first pressing of this album in 1961, the words " RVG STEREO " are clearly stamped on both sides as found on the discog's site. This album was play graded cover to cover, the LP has several hairlines on both sides which can sometimes be heard at very low levels. There were no bad pops and the  overall noise level was satisfactory for casual listening. Most of the album is fast paced leaving any of the defects unheard and un-noticed. Overall, side 1 performed better than 2 but again once the music is turned up it becomes a mute point.
This auction also comes with a limited & numbered Mobile fidelity sound labs SACD of Ray Charles Genius that is in NM condition. (S/N 523).
