DG yellow RVG Ray Draper Quintet ' Tuba sounds ' PRESTIGE PRLP 7096 (USA) mono yellow N.Y. 446W label - on bottom back cover has the address 447W - issued in 1957 - on the trail-off (dead wax) has the RVG for Rudy Van GelderRay Draper : tuba - Jackie McLean : alto sax - Webster Young : trumpet - Mal Waldron : piano - Spanky DeBrest : bass - Ben Dixon : drums Side A : Terry Anne (Young) - You're my thrill (Clare-Gerney) - Pivot (Waldron) Side B : Jackie's dolly (Draper) - Mimmi's interlude (Draper) - House of Davis (Young)
Visual grading : record is VG+ full lustre has a few small paper's scuffs and a not feelable line on side B. Clean labels with just a light trace of spindle wear. Side B label has a stamp 'Not for sale' Playing grading : record is EX- plays well with loud and clear sound. Has light occasional background noise and a few occasional ticks Cover grading : cover is FAIR to GOOD has wear to corners, edges and to spine which has printed titles readable. Top right corner has been repaired for a split. Front cover is clean with top slightly soiled. The upper part of the back has an evident water damage. Has a large piece of paper missing and also has some writings on left corner.
