"Ray I" D.J. Discotheque and Soundsystem toaster came to prominence in the Xmas Season of 1977 when Derrick Harriot put out "Winey Tiny". Then for another producer he did the popular "Weatherman Skank".

Discovered by Derrick Harriot his producer, Ray I has appeared with all the big sounds, The Mighty Virgo, Emperor Faith, Ecology Force, Soul Direction, Soul To Soul and many more too numerous to mention. Ray I appears regulary at the Bohemia Club and does a number of T.V. shows especially on the programme "Where It's At".

For the first time on album Ray I is at his best with some very popular rhythms that is sure to carry him to super stardom, as he says on side one - track one "Put Your Shoulder To The Wheel".

Produced by: Derrick Harriot

Recorded at Channel One & Joe Gibbs' Studio
