Description
Raymond Hill, "Going Down" b/w Lillie Hill "Cotton Fields - Boss Man" (High Water 408) RARE and cool original 45 of hardcore blues from Mississippi veteran, Raymond Hill, who as a teenager famously played sax on the landmark 45, "Rocket 88," which many a historian has claimed gave birth to rock 'n' roll in 1951. He also plays guitar and sings, and his wife Lillie sings on the flip side. The band includes guitarist Andrew Turner, Ike's second cousin, making his recording debut. The vinyl is VG+/VG++. The very cool and informative picture sleeve is Mint-minus. 1979 recordings. Play-graded, strict grading. First class shipping.
