Description

Reader's Digest stereo seven disc set in gatefold box, RDS 34.  Grooved heavy vinyl blue label discs pressed by RCA.  Stampers are all between 25 and 33s.  Recorded by Decca. 

Rene Leibowitz conducts the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the Beecham Choral Society in the nine symphonies of Beethoven.  Produced by Charles Gerhardt.

These sets are of the highest quality, every bit as good as the full priced shaded dog Decca/RCA issues, at a fraction of the cost.  These early issues in the gatefold boxes are not easy to find in nice condition.

Discs NM- to NM, little to no spindle wear, just a few harmless superficial scuffs from the cardboard inner sleeves that they came in, which have been replaced, slipcase VG++, booklet included.
