Description: Private press 12" 45rpm single/EP from 1980. This was an LA band doing a mix of reggae & rock locally. How they never "made it" I'm not sure, this is interesting stuff. It's a plain white sleeve with a color paper graphic glued on. Also included was a "press kit" as I'm calling it. It's a stack of extra record graphics, copies of press clippings and concert flyers (see pics). The kind of thing you'd give to a music writer or AR person when you are trying to get your band noticed.
Sleeve Condition: Strong VG, front graphic is great, very bright and looks good. Does have some scuffing and light ringwear. Back graphic has some light scuffing but not too bad. Top and bottom seams are good, but spine is very close to splitting. This is pretty thin cardboard. Comes with what I believe to be the original inner sleeve. All ephemera is in very nice shape. It has been stored inside the sleeve.
Vinyl: VG++, visually the vinyl is very clean. There are no marks or scuffs, no scratches, no visible defects at all. The label is clean as well with no discoloration or writing. Play tested and sounds great, very clear with almost no surface noise. It's clear this copy hasn't been played much at all and has been well-cared for. You'd be hard pressed to upgrade from this one.
