Description
The Red Garland Trio “All Kinds of Weather” 1958 first pressing DG Prestige Records (# PRLP 7148 mono) in a laminate cardboard sleeve. This is a Rudy Van Gelder (RVG) pressing. The record grading is Very Good Plus (VG+). Visibly, there are surface marks with hairline scratches. Yet, the album plays great - close to EX. There are a handful of faint random ticks only. Fidelity is robust with Red’s piano coming through cleanly. The following is on the runout grooves:
-
Side A): (etched) PRLP-7148-A (stamped) RVG B
-
Side B): (etched) PRLP-7148-B-1 (stamped) RVG B
-
NOTES: This original version’s jacket reads: “Prestige 7148” under Red Garland on the front, spine and back. Lower right corner of the front cover reads: “esmond edwards” in small lowercase print. Vinyl center reads “Prestige Long Playing Microgroove, PRLP 7148”
-
The outer case is Excellent (EX) with the front cover laminate being vibrant, glossy and smooth. There’s a tiny stain at the top on the front cover and very faint age wear on the back. There’s a tiny ding to the top left seam and on the bottom seam at the opening. Overall, it’s very sturdy with no splits. (all reflected in the photos). All sales final.
NOTE: This album will ship with the inner sleeve & record OUTSIDE of the cover as to prevent any possible seam damage to the cover during shipment. Both the album cover and the inner sleeve & vinyl will be contained within a plastic protective sleeve inside of the shipping box with padding on top & bottom
