Red Garland Quintet Red's Good Groove mono Jazzland 87 orange label w/ deep groove
Blue Mitchell (t), Pepper Adams (bar s), Red Garland (p), Sam Jones (b), Philly Joe Jones (d) Recorded 1962
Orange label with deep groove both sides. "235 West 46th Street, New York City 36, New York" address on back.
The record looks and plays VG. Record plays with moderate ticking and surface noise that is below the level of the music. Both sides have "paper" scuffs and some heavier scuffs and some small light scratches. Spindle marks on both sides. Grooves show some wear but are not grey or spread. Record's been played a bit but it's not wrecked and is enjoyable to listen to.
The cover is VG.
The front cover has heavy wear ring wear with tape visible on the spine and the bottom at the pocket. The back cover has heavy wear with a small stain and tape visible on the spine and bottom seam. Top seam is split and untaped app 2 inches at the pocket. Bottom seam is split and taped app 3 inches at the pocket. Spine is split and taped top to bottom. Spots of denting and wear at the corners.
