Red Garland with John Coltrane        Dig It  stereo    Prestige  7229 black and silver label w/ shallow groove 

Red Garland (p), John Coltrane (ts), Donald Byrd (t), Paul Chambers, George Joyner (b), Art Taylor (d)   Recorded 1957, 1958 

Black and silver label with shallow groove both sides. The groove on labels is shallow at top and almost deep on bottom.  NO RVG or VAN GELDER. Front cover is laminated.  "203 So. Washington Ave., Bergenfield, N.J." address on back cover.  

 The record looks M- and plays VG++.  Record plays with very light surface noise that is audible during quiet passages. One very light scuff on each side. No scratches. Grooves do not show any graying or damage.   

 The cover is VG.  

    The front cover has moderate wear.  The back cover has moderate wear with staining and fading. Top seam is heavily worn and split and untaped app 7 inches at the pocket.  Spine is heavily worn at the corners and slick is cracking at top.  Heavy wear and denting at the corners.
