Description
This is an original 3 & 3/4 ips twin track mono reel-to-reel tape from 1964 TA-PMC 1240. I have checked it on a reel-to-reel player and both sides are great. There are no snaps or repairs and the tape is on the original 4 inch EMI reel with the printed leader tape intact at both ends. It's in a plastic 'bookcase' case.. all the Beatles For Sale tapes I've seen have been in cardboard boxes which makes this copy quite rare. The case is intact and has only minor scuff marks. The inlay is in excellent condition - no writing and no tears - the only marks are some small creases and the 'crush' marks which are common to plastic cases (see photo). They are hardly visible when the case is shut. In case you can't remember, the tracks are:
SIDE ONE: No Reply; I'm A Loser; Baby's In Black; Rock And Roll Music; I'll Follow The Sun; Mr.Moonlight; and Kansas City.
SIDE TWO: Eight Days A Week; Words Of Love; Honey Don't; Every Little Thing; I Don't Want To Spoil The Party; What You're Doing; and Everybody's Trying To Be My Baby.
The opening price for this tape is a BARGAIN if it stays at that (check out http://www.leninimports.com/beatles_reel.html#bssingles).
