The diverse roots of blazing Redheads music come straight out of the extensive and varied experience of its seven member in San Francisco Bay Area salsa, jazz, Latin jazz, and rock bands. Each player brings her own distinctive voice to the sound. Their personalities define the music; they work together as a tight sensitive ensemble while at the same time incorporating lively, exploratory solos. A soft samba rhythm, then a scream in the flute. Just the right amount of the unexpected.
