Kotekan , An adventurous ensemble formed in 1975, offers programs of an entertaining and experimental nature. The members of Kotekan combine their individual professional experiences in Western Classical, Baroque, Avant-Garde, Jazz, Balinese Gamelan and improvisatory music interlocking in vurtuousic ensemble playing. This along with use of unique and often surprising instrumentation accounts for the enthusiasm and excitement created by Kotekan- Grading Scale
NM - near perfect, played rarely if ever.
VG++ - almost like new with only superficial signs of use that dont affect play. Only well cared for records will grade out to VG++.
VG+ - vinyl may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or light scratches that don't affect the sound.
VG - surface noise will be noticeable,but will not overpower the music.

Good does not mean bad! The record still plays through without skipping, so it can serve as filler until something better comes along. But it has significant surface noise and groove wear, and the label is worn, with significant ring wear, heavy writing, or obvious damage caused by someone trying to remove tape or stickers and failing miserably. A Good to VG– cover has ring wear to the point of distraction, has seam splits obvious on sight and may have even heavier writing, such as, for example, huge radio station letters written across the front to deter theft.
