Description
RAPE (Relator and Peru Enterprises) Records #0003 2 record set, “Nostalgia” featuring (William aka Bunny) Relator (Harris) and Errol Peru. Recorded live in 1983 at the Holiday Inn Ballroom, Port-of-Spain, Trinidad and Tobago. This guy is half calypso musician and half (politically pointed) comedian. E.g., he has a song about how Trinidad and Tobago now has to import calypso music from the US. One photo inside the gatefold shows Relator in a pose that would shame most punk rock singers. Very funny, interesting and hummable stuff here. Autographed too. Gatefold jacket and vinyl all NM condition.
See my other auctions for funk 45s; funk , rap, house, techno, reggae, African, blues, rock 12”s, LPs. No country.
Grading:
M : Mint ( I never say mint, bogue, stone fox or Joe mama).
NM: Near Mint, Very clean, maybe some very light marks but sound is like new.
VG++: Very glossy, any scratches or marks will be very light and barely affecting play.
VG+: Still glossy, possibly some light crackle, some fine lines, still plays well.
VG: Used record, some crackle, no loud pops or skips; plays ok.
VG- : Some loud crackle, pops, a skip, probably not much gloss left.
Please listen to the sound clip(s). I try my best to grade accurately,
but I can make mistakes. The sound clip is there for you to
judge for yourself the bid-worthiness of any record I auction.
Please take a minute to use it. Thank you
