Description
This is the Classic Records 45 Series reissue of RCA Living Stereo LSC-1806, Fritz Reiner conducting Richard Strauss' Also Sprach Zarathustra with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. This truly decadent presentation is on five 200 gram discs, the first disc being a remastered version of the original 33 rpm release, and the other four being single-sided 45 rpm discs. Only the 33 rpm disc has a jacket with album art, the other four have blank white jackets with Classic Records hype stickers on them. All discs are graded NM, as are the polylined paper inner sleeves. The jackets are graded EX and have dings on one corner (upper left for the first disc, lower right for the others); the first disc's jacket is the most affected. The inner sleeves are graded NM. All discs have been ultrasonically cleaned and play-graded on a Merrill-Williams REAL 101 turntable. A 2.5 mil polypropylene box set sleeve is provided.
The record will ship via USPS Media Mail for US customers (Priority Mail available at additional cost) and First Class International for foreign customers, in a white record mailer with corrugated pad for extra protection.
