Renaissance – Novella Pre-Release 1977 Test Pressing  Stereo Epic Records CBS S 82137 WHITE Label Promo UK Vinyl LP Album Catalogue number taken from the run out grooves - not played or checked Tracklist A1 Can You Hear Me? A2 The Sisters B1 Midas Man B2 The Captive Heart B3 Touching Once (Is So Hard To Keep) 'Novella' was released in the USA and Canada in January 1977. It was released by Warner Brothers in the UK in September 1977. The mismatch in dates occurred because the band's original UK label 'BTM' had just gone bust. In order to release the album, the band had first to find a new label. Initial talks were held with CBS Records UK. This test pressing was made for a scheduled release in January 1977 on CBS Records. However the band never completed their contract with CBS and instead signed to Warner Brothers. The album was never released by CBS who no longer had the rights.
