Rev. I. B. Ware: You Better Quit Drinking Shine & I Wouldn't Mind Dying (But I Gotta Go By Myself) on Vocalion 1235
The only record made by Rev. I. B. Ware is extremely rare. According to 78 Quarterly there are less than 5 copies left of this one. The record has very good singing with guitar all the way. It is not one of those sermon records that flourished in the late 1920’s. This one is really good but unfortunately the record has some wear but still some nice music left in the grooves of this one. The record would never have been offered for sale if it was E- or better (anyone out there having a copy for sale!!?)
