I love these old Gospel Records, Quartets, and Singers. Most music started from a little church full of musicians. Gospel is pretty collectible right now. Even the quartets from the 70's records are pretty hot. I remember seeing the Blackwood Brothers at a little church in the mountains of Bell County, near Four Mile, KY.
If you read to information on this album this one appears to be the first Jimmy Swaggart album. I have the second album listing next so this inhere is the first one. Note he's called, Jimmy LEE Swaggart. I believe it's Jim Records Jim-LP-101. SOME GOLDEN DAYBREAK. The info on the record tells how Swaggart is destined to be one of the great evangelists and is born in Ferriday, Louisiana. He was "called" to preach and play the piano when he was 8 years old. It also talks about Jerry Lee Lewis being his cousin. This record play maybe 10-12 times and has one scratch, but nothing that will keep it from playing. I have never played this record.
