Description
"Revolver" LP vinyl record album by The Beatles from 1966, in very good overall condition. From Capitol, album T-2576, mono sound, recorded in high fidelity. We understand this to be the first American pressing, as the Lennon-McCartney song credits do not include first names, and the original inner sleeve -- "Capitol '66; Sounds Great!" -- is printed in bright yellow/orange. Record labels are black with "rainbow" color band, and no subsidiary rim text. Record was pressed at Capitol's Scranton, Pa., plant, as identified by the IAM triangle stamp in the run-outs on each side. Also stamped on the Side 1 run-out is T2-2576-G6 xx 2, and on Side 2 run-out T2-2576-F1 xx 2.
Condition details:
> Record: Side 1 has a scuff angled across the first three tracks, and another straight across the last track and into the run-out. Side 2 has a light scratch in the first half of the first track. Otherwise, it appears to be in very good condition. We have not played the record and cannot say how it sounds.
> Labels: Excellent with no scratches or marks.
> Sleeve: Has a 3" split in the center of one edge (where the record has pushed through); otherwise, no tears or marks.
> Cover: Has light sticker residue on front upper right corner, and light brown discoloring along top right edge; left (title) edge is crinkled/ripped (see picture); back has record-shaped wear at left side. There are no creases, holes, marks or writing.
This is a nice addition to a Beatles collection. Price includes shipping in the U.S.; extra cost for International delivery based on the country. Please send a message if you have a question, and please see our other listings including "Introducing The Beatles" record album.
