Description

Revolver by the Beatles

PCS 7009
XEX 605 2/XEX 606 3

UK early pressing in mono to the best of my knowledge.

Firstly, the record:

Visually pretty good. A handful of marks either side but no deep impact damage. The labels are clean & unmarked. They show some spindle wear but nothing unforgivable.

I have play tested this record from start to finish (no *visual testing only* nonsense) & it sounds great. Some crackle on the quieter sections & the odd light tick here & there but it's very enjoyable with no sticking or jumping. It generally holds up well for a record over 50 years old.

As ever with an item of this age, it would easily go up a grade with a professional clean.

Secondly, the sleeve:

Very clean, tidy, unmarked & undamaged. Lightly creased bottom corners but otherwise extremely impressive. Good sharp spine. Seemingly an original inner sleeve too. The pictures tell a thousand words.

Further notes:

G & L flipback sleeve;

Track B4 listed as Dr. Robert on both sleeve & label, denoting an early version (labels were soon changed to read doctor, & sleeves not long thereafter).

Not quite a museum piece but a very respectable copy nonetheless. A record that has been used but generally taken care of. A collectable rarity, a sound investment & 35 minutes of the loveliest music ever recorded.

I post promptly and securely and I sometimes use recycled packaging.

Polite disclaimer:

If you don't have the means to pay for a bid within 48 hours of sale then please let me know before bidding.
Also if you intend making an offer but you have further questions about the items for sale, then you should ask them *prior to making that offer. By making an offer you are committed to the sale should the retailer accept it as per eBay terms and conditions. Sorry to have to mention this but I've suffered some frankly rotten buying etiquette recently.

Domestic or GSP buyers only please.

Check out my feedback, bid with confidence, & thanks for looking!
