Original 1967 mono pressing of Jala Jala Y Boogaloo by Ricardo Ray on Alegre Records (LPA 857). This vibrant Latin album blends boogaloo, salsa, bolero, and cha-cha styles. Notably, track “Baby Don’t You Cry” is a cha-cha sung in English, adding a unique flavor to this classic. The record features engineering by Fred Weinberg and Rodrigo Zavala, and was mastered at Sterling Sound.
