Richard Hell and the Voidoids - Blank Generation - Sire SR6037 - 1978*
Vinyl LP Record
*Note, the only date on the label is a production date of 1977, but I've checked and this is a 1978 re-issue, which tallies with my recollection of buying it around 1978-80.
Matrix/run-out & Label
I include these details for anyone who wants to identify the exact pressing etc.
Side one ; S-2 SR-6037 A Allen EG ? (ECT?) Side two ; S-3 SR-6037 B Allen EG ? (ECT?)
On the label, the 'Sire' logo is blue with the name 'Sire' in red. I have seen pictures of what seems to be the same album (SR 6037, UK) with those details in black. I do not know the significance of this, or even care particularly, but thought I should mention it.
Sleeve - clean, undamaged, unmarked. Very  little wear.
Inner sleeve - black and white inner sleeve with lyrics and pictures. Clean, unmarked, undamaged.
Labels - clean, unmarked.
Vinyl - As I recall I have played this quite a lot but it is bearing up well. I have just played side one tracks 1-3 and side two tracks 1 and 2 and they played with no problems at all, no crackle, skips, pops, clicks. The other tracks I've graded visually and would expect them to play the same. From my recollection, it has always played all the way through with no problems whatsoever and no loss of sound quality
