Original 1960 RCA Living Stereo (LSC-2446) shaded dog pressing of Rimsky-Korsakoff's "Scheherazade" performed by The Chicago Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Fritz Reiner. In the dead wax of side 1 it is stamped 7S and on side 2 it is stamped 1S. There is also an "I" stamped on each side as well for those interested in knowing.

Jacket is VG++. Corners and spine are in excellent shape. No seam splits. Not a cut out. Light shelf wear. Beautiful by any standards, but especially for a 51 year old LP! The only blemish on this jacket is the fact that it has the number 23 written in black marker on the back cover. This particular LP came from a deceased audiophile's collection. He took stunningly good care of his records but as he never intended to sell them, would mark the front and/or back covers in marker as he had a peculiar way of categorizing his records, using a number system. When I bought the collection from another vendor, it came with these books of how he'd sorted these 2000+ LP's of his. Very interesting was the original owner. I am the third owner of this LP. The previous owner attempted to remove the marker from some albums, sometimes being more successful than other times. It appears that the previous owner did NOT attempt to remove the number from the back cover. Ink has faded over time.

If you are ultra super conservative, to save all parties trouble, we kindly ask you please move along because if you really try you can always find something wrong with a record. We sell solid records and try not to over grade but opinions do differ and we've found our opinion mainly only differs with those that are absolute fanatics about condition who probably shouldn't be buying used vinyl records online in the first place due to the fact that the record is site unseen.
