Description

As good as it gets.  An original Westminster red/black label stereo pressing of Rimsky-Korsakoff's Scheherazade as performed by the Vienna State Opera Orchestra, conducted by Hermann Scherchen (WST-14003).  This is a promo copy and is stamped in the upper right rear "Not for sale".  The LP is NM and appears unplayed.  The jacket is EX++ and would be NM but I am devaluing for slight yellowing at the bottom of the white rear cover, and the promo stamp even though it speaks to its originality.  The seams, covers, and corners are near perfect.  This is a highly coveted recording of an amazing performance, of one of the most loved pieces of music ever written.  If you are a collector of early Westminster records, do not let this one slip away!

All LP's are visually graded (I have not listened to them all, that would take a lifetime!!).  If you have specific questions about an LP, please feel free to ask.  Starting bid includes the cost of fresh poly sleeve, new LP mailer and packing material, I do not believe in charging extra for handling costs, unlike the airlines.  I try to charge only actual shipping costs. If the shipping cost is much less than the calculated shipping, I will gladly refund the difference.  I am not a business, but a collector who is trimming down as I've hit max capacity for my record collection and need to clear some shelf space, so please help a guy keep the peace in the house and relieve me of some of my collection.
