This fully produced radio special, narrated by Ringo Starr, was aired in 1983 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of The Beatles first (U.S.) number one (Please, Please Me) .

Ringo's highly personal narrative recalls the fantastic adventures of the Fab Four from their early beginnings to the (then) present day (1983). Each hour is loaded with music - from their biggest-selling number one hits to some rare and wonderful collector's items including an occasional press conference and Christmas message.

This special is MASSIVE - 25 hours!

Condition of the 12" long playing discs (all 25 of them!) is almost mint - they were played once when the special went to air. The boxes do show signs of wear (torn edges, etc.).

Comes with clock hours and cue sheets - although the cue sheets for hours 22 & 25 are missing, as are the clocks for hours 6, 20, 24 & 25. Some of the cue sheets have been 'crossed' (to signify that that hour had been played), and some have writing on them.

This is a must for the serious Beatles fan.
