Description

Rising Storm-Calm Before (Remnant BBA-3571) Yes, this is the REAL THING and not a boot or reissue. No need to explain that this is probably the RAREST and MOST COLLECTABLE SIXTIES GARAGE LP OF ALL TIME (and objectively one of the best musically too!!!) with two copies recently selling on eBay for over $4700 each. This LP came from organist Charlie Rockwell's mother and has been tucked away at her home for 4 decades. It's a gorgeous keeper copy that overall plays VG++ with a few sonic defects which I list below. Side one visually grades out at VG+ with a couple 1" scratches (Charlie's mom's fingernails?) on tracks 2 and 3 that make some audio ticks. There are a few other minor marks that make a little surface noise but nothing major. Side two also visually grades out at a conservative VG+ and plays real clean. You won't be disappointed by the sound quality of the vinyl. The cover conservatively grades out at a strong VG+ with no ringwear on the front cover and just a touch of it on the top of the white back cover. No seam splits and on the front cover there are some minor stains by the opening and on the top left corner. Reasonable minimum considering that this is THE HOLY GRAIL of '60s garage. CHECK OUT MY OTHER RARE '60S GARAGE/PSYCH DISCS CURRENTLY RUNNING ON EBAY. LOTS OF KILLER RECORDS UP FOR GRABS SO DON'T MISS OUT!
