Rita Marley & The Soulettes – ‘My Desire’ / ‘Bring It Up’ – Jackpot JP 766 (UK)

Encompassing both ‘London Bridge Is Falling Down’ and The Four Tops’ Baby, I Need Your Loving’, this Bob Marley production of ‘My Desire’ came out both on Tuff Gong and on a Wail’N’Soul blank in Jamaica. This is the equally rare and every bit as collectable UK pressing from 1971. The flip, ‘Bring It Up’, draws on Peter Tosh’s ‘One Foundation’ and Marley’s ‘Stir It Up’. Both tunes ride gorgeous grooves.

Condition: Excellent to near mint; a little dust, that’s all (please listen to the clips). Clean labels, four pronged centre intact (please see scans).
