HELLO,
You are bidding on two rare pieces of rock’n’roll History. Ritchie Valens 2 alternate takes of his hit song “Donna”. These songs were recorded as demos in the basement of his manager Bob Keane (originally recorded on a reel to reel). These records could have possibly been cut from the reel to reel. Both 6” lacquer discs are recorded on one side only. Both discs bare the marks “R.V. 9-3-58”. Both records have been play tested, they play very well but a little bit on the quiet side. NOTE* these records have limited playing life, and are played at 78rpm. There are cracks in the lacquer, but fortunately they are on the back side, which is blank and does not effect play. I strongly encourage limited use of this record and to keep as an investment in a collection or display. I am a serious collector in Ritchie Valens memorabilia and these two pieces come from my private collection.
