MATTHEW GEE All-Stars "JAZZ BY GEE!" LP. Vintage MONO heavy vinyl pressing on Riverside Records, RLP 12-221. This is the original '56 heavy vinyl pressing with the classic white label with reel & mike logo - NOT A REISSUE. The personnel: Matthew Gee/trombone; Kenny Dorham/trumpet; Ernie Henry/alto sax; Frank Foster/tenor sax; Cecil Payne/baritone sax; Joe Knight/piano; John Simmons/bass; Art Taylor/drums. The vinyl is in EX+ to NM condition (beautiful gloss). Gorgeous!! The thick cardboard cover is in EX- shape, displays nicely. There is slight cellophane residue on three edges. Tiny name written at top right corner on front and back - both probably removable. NO significant seam splits, NO bends or creases, NO cut-out marks, and the front cover graphics are particularly striking. The songs are: Out of Nowhere; I'll Remember April; Joram; Sweet Georgia Brown; Lover Man; Gee!; Kingston Lounge; The Boys from Brooklyn.***Crisp original rice paper inner sleeve included!***
