An extremely rare and sought after private press LP - Robbie the Werewolf - live at the Waleback. A pretty wild and singular creation! with a cover that has probably never been bettered in the history of recorded music. One of the landmark recordings in the Horror music genre. Recorded live in the early 60's at the Whaleback or waleback inn in Santa Monica, CA. A real period piece! Don't wait for halloween...
COVER: VG- top and bottom seams are split several inches. wear to corners and seams. creases on front. some age staining to rear. pen writing on the rear in a few places...
VINYL: VG- many play marks and visible wear - plays well though. Side two is in nicer shape than side one, mostly though it does have a pressing imperfection or something that causes it to "pffffooot" throughout 1st track. There is feelable scratch over track one and part of track two - side one - but it doesn't cause much of a click until the second track, when it clicks loudly for about 6 spins. Side two track two has a smaller scratch that clicks a few times. The recording and Robbie's intensity really jump out on this record so you don't notice these intrusions much.
