Description
Robert Johnson - The Complete Original Masters: Centennial Edition. This is a TWELVE DISC box set, featuring twelve 10" LPs, all at 45RPM, chronicling Robert Johnson's original singles. Housed in an actual 78rpm album book – each “page” being a sleeve holding a single disc - each vinyl disc is outfitted with reproductions of the original record labels. Also included is a unique booklet with new essays telling the updated story of Robert Johnson, photos and more. This was a limited edition run of 1000 copies, and this copy is numbered 0589 / 1000.
All twelve vinyl look excellent, likely unplayed, showing only the faintest signs of sleeve wear / handling... absolutely nothing that affects play whatsoever. Box looks perfect except for a small indentation on the bottom spine and a tiny cut on the back, both pictured. Overall, a spectacular copy of an unbelievably great collection of original delta blues.
