Description
Selected titles from the private collection of a music business veteran are now being made available for the first time. Titles offered by this Seller are one-owner and came directly from the pressing plant, record company warehouse, other label reps or record store unless otherwise noted.
Grading is based on visual inspection.
Album ships in a 2 MIL poly cover sleeve and a 2 MIL poly inner sleeve.
I package records outside the cover to avoid seam splits.
New and vintage vinyl is hard to grade strictly using eBay’s system because the record and the cover are two different components. Therefore, I call a record new and mint if it is opened but has never been played. I use the grading category to describe the cover condition.
- The cover caption (at the bottom of the front cover) reads: "Robert Johnson first records in a makeshift studio in a San Antonio hotel room - November, 1936."
- These are the original Mono recordings.
- This Promotional copy is a First Pressing that has never been played.
- The Radio Station Timing/promo sticker is on the bottom front cover. A Promo stamp is upper right back cover.
- The paper on board cover has tight seams and shows very slight storage wear.
- The 12"x 12" insert features liner notes by Pete Welding.
- The back cover liner notes are by Jon Waxman.
- The inner sleeve is the Columbia poster catalog. I have included a soft poly inner sleeve.
- This Promo Copy is a one-owner that the Seller got from the CBS rep in his record store in 1970. It has been in storage for 47 years.
