Up for bid is a used record from my personal collection.

I choose to not grade the vinyl and jacket/cover/sleeve in my listings because I don't want there to be any misunderstandings about the condition (visual and audible) of the record and its packaging. Instead, I play through each record before listing (open air playback, I do not listen on headphones) and visually inspect it under natural light and black light. I have included comments and observations on the condition (visual and audible) of the record and its packaging, as well as photos of what is included in the auction (quality pictures of the vinyl itself are really tricky to capture, but I did my best).

Note BEFORE BUYING that this is being sold AS IS and I do not accept returns ... they are too costly and too much hassle. So to eBay Representatives and to Buyers ... I've been a member of the eBay community since 1999 and take my status as a buyer and seller very seriously. I have documented all substantive issues with the item in this listing and will challenge any request for a full or partial refund, return, or "item not as described" claim filed by a Buyer. Again … sold AS IS.

I'll spin the vinyl through Record Friend (Big Fudge) to clean it before shipping to minimize any finger prints, residue, minor debris that could attach to the vinyl over time and when preparing it for shipping. Incidental lint/debris is very likely to be visible on the vinyl when you pull it from the packaging and first inspect it ... clean it appropriately and the vinyl should clean up as it was when I initially packaged it. All items will be shipped in a record mailer by USPS Media Mail with proper packaging.

Below are my notes on the record ...

VINYL

Side 1/A:

• There are a few pops early on track A1 and a skip once the vocals begin. I played the song a second time and still could only detect 1 skip (tonearm tracking force is at 1.7 grams).
• There are approximately 8-10 superficial scratch marks on this side, some spanning several tracks. The scratches themselves cant be felt.
• There is some faint crackling throughout the side, but nothing I would consider disruptive ... especially for vinyl that is nearly 35 years old.
• There is some scuffing that is visible on parts of track A4 and A5, and a blemish is visible in the early parts of track A5, but neither noticeably impact audio playback.

Side 2/B:

• There are approximately 5-6 superficial scratch marks on this side that cannot be felt; most small enough to hardly see.
• There is some crackling on this side as well, but noticeably less than on Side 1/A.
• A blemish is visible in the early parts of track B1, but doesn't seem to impact audio playback which is notable since this is the title track and there are some drums+vocal isolations throughout the track.
• Track B3 has a 1/2" scratch. It's hard to tell for sure, but I believe it impacts the first beat of the track. Surprisingly, other than a few pops early in the track the scratch doesn't significantly impact audio playback until a skip during the middle of the song. I played it back again to make sure it only skipped once.
• There are a few pops at the very end of track B4 and the beginning of track B5, along with a skip in the early part of track B5.

JACKET/COVER

see photos; no noticeable ring wear; cover front is in very good condition with very little corner wear; the labelling on spine has a number of gouges that are evident in the picture included with the listing; the back of the cover has the most issues with a significant portion of the cover surface having been peeled away

OTHER/GENERAL COMMENTS

I grew up in Niagara Falls and saw these guys play a bunch of times in the area in the late 80's ... wow. I'm not certain how many copies the band pressed because they also released this on CD, but this is an extremely difficult record to locate. Most people I contacted before I found this one were long-time holders of the record and had no plans to ever sell it. Discogs only has 40 users that have the LP in their collection, and there is just 1 for sale (as of 1/28/2022) for $399 + $25 shipping, and it ships from Greece. I bought this one for $200 and I’m listing it for $125. Thanks for looking.
