Description
The Buddy Holly Story extended play 45 rpm record by Buddy Holly contains songs from his July and October 1958 Coral singles and his January 5, 1959 Coral single. Side 1 Track 1 is "It Doesn't Matter Anymore"; Track 2 is "Heartbeat". Side 2 Track 1 is "Raining In My Heart" and Track 2 is "Early In The Morning". This 45 rpm extended play record was released on February 20, 1959 barely 6 weeks after the release of Buddy's last Coral single of "It Doesn't Matter Anymore" B/.W "Raining In My Heart" and only a couple of weeks after his death. That's good sales management, huh? Interestingly the only member of the Crickets to play on these four songs was Jerry Allison who played on "Heartbeat" only. None of the other boys played on any of these. P{lease note: This record comes with both a Coral Factory sleeve and the Picture Sleeve at No Cost (It is "Good" at best).
