Description
Hi and welcome to my auction item. I am clearing out a further batch of vinyl - some of it rare and collectible. I aim to give an honest description of each item and grade the condition as accurately as possible.
Opening price (or fixed price, where Buy It Now) is fair and realistic, and is based on the value or rarity of the record.
I post to the UK only, and will aim to post out the first working day after payment is received. Winning bidder to pay via Paypal within three days of end of auction please. For peace of mind I always obtain
proof of posting and if bid price exceeds £30.00, the item will be sent out (at my additional cost) by tracked, signed for postage.
On UK Island this is Roger McGough, sometime member of UK Group the Scaffold in the sixties, and latterly a witty, topical and acerbic poet. This album is an audio vocal version of his written work "Summer With Monika" released on Island in 1978. It's a factory sample/promo/demo, whatever you'd prefer to call it, as denoted
by the original manufacturer sticker on reverse of sleeve.
The record is in very good condition, probably played no more than three or four times, and has very light surface scratches. Vinyl is bright and shiny, blue Island labels are unmarked with no writing or stickers. Outer sleeve shows a little wear on reverse at the top, as shown in the attached pics.
