Roger Waters - Amused to Death Limited Edition LP (Made In Holland)

ROGER WATERS Amused To Death - Rare 1992 Dutch 14-track limited edition audiophile issue double LP pressed on 180gm premium virgin vinyl & mastered direct to lacquer from the original analogue master tapes. Housed in the original picture sleeve with sticker it comes complete with the 16-page high quality illustrated lyric booklet and die-cut black inner sleeves.

The sleeve on this copy has minor storage marks mostly on the edges & corners and some impressions from the disks although they would not be considered ring wear - otherwise near mint - still a great copy.

These low production, limited edition double LPs are very lightly used with only a few complete plays logged on each LP. I would rate each LP as VG++. Each one has one or two minor flaws, none of which affect play.

When grading LPs, I am using the Goldmine standards and the book sits on my desk for reference. When an album is graded mint minus has no visible flaws. VG++ may have one hair-line scratch from inserting the LP into the sleeve or similar extremely minor visual flaw that does not affect play. An album graded VG+ has a few hair-line scratches from insert into the sleeve and does not affect play. None of these LPs are abused and none of them have any issues that affect play.

The included booklet is in very fine condition with all reproduced covers in outstanding shape. Only the slightest wear to the front and back of the outer paper sleeve indicates that it has been used.

This is referred to as the "unofficial" release on some web sites and it is reported that the sound quality is not as good as the original pressing. It is however, rare and collectable regardless.

To answer some questions: This LP does NOT have any printing on the spine which is identical to the original Columbia release. Both the Columbia and the Sony release share this trait. Both LPs are numbered 468761 and were made in Holland. This release was only available in the Netherlands reportedly.
