Description

Edit: After giving this a spin on my Luxman turntable I could see no warp. I guess I misremembered or 25 years in the stacks removed whatever minor warp the record once had.

I'm not a record dealer but I used to be. I co-owned a used/collectable record store from 1981 to 1992. I've been a record geek since the late '60's so naturally I accumulated a lot of neat (at least to me) records. I recently got my turntable/amp/speakers squared away again so I figured it would be a good time to go through the records and decide what I really wanted to keep and what I could part with.

I'm just going to start with a handful to see how it goes. If I can sell some of these, I'll probably be listing records for the next couple of years.

I'm kind of rusty on my grading but I'll do my best. Grading is subjective so you can return the record if you don't want it. I want to keep my 100% feedback score intact so don't worry, I'll work with you. I'm still a hardcore collector (mostly rare books these days) myself. I know how it is.

Most everything is visually graded with some exceptions on the older stuff to see how it sounds. These records have been in a bookcase in my living room for at least 20-25 years and a lot of them I never even listened to. But many of them were bought as used records to begin with.

I've purchased new LP mailers, packing blanks and clear polypropylene sleeves. I also bought some high density inner sleeves and will include one if it needs it.

Media mail postage is $4.00. USA only as I have no way to track/confirm international shipments.

Okay, you're probably bored to death so I'll get started…..

(One more thing: I took the pics outdoors in bright sunlight. This has made many of these records/covers look a lot worse than they really do. Cloudy days seem to produce more natural looking pics but hey, it's sunny today. Just keep that in mind, especially on some of these that are highly reflective like the vinyl and the Groupies cover.)

Both record, cover and insert near mint. Back in the mid-'80's I received 5 copies of this LP at my store. All five copies had a warp from very slight to severe. I kept the best one, my buddy got the next one and the other three were returned. I assume it was a pressing problem. This has been in my collection ever since and I believe I've played it maybe 2-3 times. Off the coolness scale. EDIT: Clean pressing but not the best recording. Price lowered accordingly.

The insert is stamped number 000011.
